Compost tumbler & easy harvest worm bin

by Mr Quackers
(Morehead City NC)

To make a really great compost tumbler, try this web site http://dixiegrilling.com/tumbler.htm The plans are free and easy to follow. It's made out of a 60 gallon pickle barrel. Super ventilation system. I made a double. Total cost about $75. Also the easiest to harvest worm bin can be found at http://www.ecoyardfarming.com/ezwormcomposter/
Spend the $10 for the plans. It will save you a lot of time and money. Both of them are cooking at my house. Can't wait for spring. Any questions mrquackers7@yahoo.com

Note from BigTex Worms:
Readers be aware,
I have reviewed the ezwormcomposter you refer to above and do not like the design at all, it goes against basic worm composting rules not to rotate worms because it can cause the entire bin to overheat. I am curious to know how long you have been using this bin and would appreciate it if you post some photos of your bin along with a detailed review of how it operates. I am VERY leary of the design, until someone PROVES me wrong.

Liz
