Dog hair

by Ron D
(Milwaukee WI.)

I have a 110 lb shepard cross. With his long coat he sheds a lot. Can I put dog hair in my worm bin. As I understand hair is protien. Does it break down enough for the worms. Thanks

Note from BigTex Worms:
YOu can put hair in a worm bin but it will take a very long time to break down because it is mostly protein.
