Earthworm flour

Am going to start an earthworm composting project. I want you use the excess earthworms as a supplimentary feed for my chickens. I think I want to turn them into earthworm flour/powder. I can find no exact instructions. My GUESS is that you freeze them to kill them. Dehydrate them, then grind them. Happy to hear about alternative ways to create earthworm flour. Also, if sealed tightly in cellar-like conidition (we have a solid cement walled pantry - not as good as a cellar but always at least 10 - 15 degrees lower than the ambiant air temperature) how long will they keep? And if they "spoil" what does that look like? How fast are the nutrients drained from earthworm flour when stored. Answers to any of these questions would be appreciated. Thank you for your time!

Answer from BigTex WormsUsing earthworms to feed worms? $25/pound chicken feed? That is the most expensive feed I have ever heard of. I have chickens and would never consider feeding them my red wigglers, much less grinding them up into a flour. Sorry, no tips/advice on that here. And I would guess there is not any advice anywhere on the internet for this practice.
What you might consider is black soldier flies, they reproduce like crazy and can be fed to chickens, they do not have a weight value like red wigglers.
