Gonna be a berry

This little guy is gonna be a strawberry when he grows up.
Funny, it is late February here in Texas and my strawberry plants never went dormant this year. They say it is an el nino year, meaning very warm temperatures. We have only had 3-4 nights that got below freezing, ALL WINTER! For the most part we have had fall like weather all winter. I wish I would have known, I could have had a full production vegetable garden all year.
