Harvested 3 gal. casting in less then 2 mo.

I received my worms from Liz on Jan. 31. Set up my bin on Feb. 1. Harvested 3 gal of castings the old fashioned pyramid way on Mar. 27. I'm extremely pleased with my worms and BigTex worms. I expect to divide my bin into 2 at the end of May when I harvest again. Keep them on the porch now in the shade. Had them inside in cold weather with no problems. Wonderful way to recycle our kitchen scraps although I also have a compost pile and bin.
