mites? how to get rid of them.

I think I have mites, how do I fix the problem. The bin came from someone else. water logged. I made 2 bins, new dirt and up popped the mites, very small very busy but a off light pink color.

Without a picture it is impossible for me to say what the bug is.
You can use the search feature on this site if you feel they are indeed mites (just type in the word mites), I have written several articles, answered a few questions and even have a video on mites.
