moisture of worm bin

How often and how do I moisten the worm bin. Do I just spray the top or move the dirt around and spray and moisten all the way to the bottom? Can I just pour water and dampen it like I did without the worms being in it?

I am so sorry, somehow I missed this question.
I always just moisten the bin from the top BUT it is important to make sure the entire contents of the bin are moist so you can dig around a bit once a week or so to make sure there are not any dry spots. Don't do it daily or it will stress the worms too much.
Depending on the size of your bin and the location of your bin is how you water it. If your bin is indoors you may NEVER have to water it. If it is outdoors, you will need to sprinkle water it daily. A simple watering can will do the trick. Or a toiletry sprayer if you have a very small worm bin.

I hope this helps,
