New worms

Thanks for your reply. I got my worms, put them in the bin with a light and had to leave town. I had someone turn off the light and put on the lid. I left shredded paper that includes glossy ads from newspaper with instructions for my daughter to make a nest, feed a handful, and cover with shreds. Will my worms be ok not eating and hanging out until I can get home on Mon with better paper shreds or should I have my daughter follow through with directions?

Do you have any dryer lint on hand? she can use that. If not, then they will be absolutely fine till monday OR she can feed without the nest if the food is dryer. She can wring out the excess moisture if its wet, then you can add the bedding when you get home
