Pink Cyclamen

pink cyclamen

I am so excited to find the most gorgeous fall flower for my garden the pink cyclamen. I bought some red ones too but forgot to take a photo.

The full name is cyclamen persicum. They grow from TUBERS which means they are perennial here in TX. Or at least that is what they say. (cold hardy to 40 degrees) I will let you know. I plan on mulching heavily this winter.

I found them for $1.50 per plant at my local Lowes. There were originally $6 plus. So I bought $11, figured even if they don't come back, they will add some fall beauty to my lawn. On the tag is says the bloom time is spring, summer and fall.

Do you have any experience with these fall flowers?
