Saw dust in worm bin

by Vicky
(San Marcos,Tx)

Is it all right to add cedar saw dust to my worm bin?

Answer from BigTex Worms:
Check the ph of the sawdust and if it is neutral then it is "safe" for the bin BUT it will take the worms close to forever to compost it because it is wood. I personally would not put in a worm bin.
