Springs First Bloom 2012

I have officially named the winter of 2011-2012 SWINTER. It has been the winter that was really spring.

I have absolutely no complaints. Here is my photo of my very first bulb bloom of the season, today February 1st, 2012. A full month earlier than last year.

It is a beautiful yellow daffodil, complements of the previous owner. Within a week I will have hundreds of yellow blooms in my back yard. What a gorgeous way to say hello to spring, or at least I hope this amazing weather continues.
