Starting worm composting

I have been considering worm composting. I have been all over the internet searching the subject and still undecided...that is until I found your web site. Great videos and lots of info. You have done a Great Job!!!
My question is...starting worm composting; what would be the best starter bin to use? I am going to order my first batch of worms from you as I feel that would be the best way to stay connected. At least if I needed help you would know about my worms, that they were good quality.
Thanks, looking forward to doing business with you!!!
Note from BigTex Worms:Thanks so much for your kind words. I have put a lot of time into the site and am super excited to hear you found it useful. Especially, since it helped to persuade you to jump into worm composting.
Now to answer your question. The type of bin you use depends on what your goals are. Most people simply start with a rubbermaid tote style bin (which I cover in the online class you will get with your worm purchase) or a 5 gallon bucket. Then when that gets full you can either make another identical one OR build a bigger bin out of a 55 gallon drum or wood. Or you could use an old fridge, bathtub, watering trough or whatever. The basic idea is that the worms need a bin that is opaque, is completely protected from weather/predators and has air holes. That is about it.
Any questions you have along the way, I am here to help.
