Summer's in Florida for worms?

by Nancy
(Merritt Island, FL)

Hi,
Our worms will be outdoors this summer(in central Florida), is putting them in the shade good enough to keep them from getting too hot?
Thank you!
Nancy

Answer from BigTex Worms
There are several worm farms in Florida, so I do not imagine there should be a problem.
I have hot weather tips on this page: click here to read the article on cold and hot weather tips
