The worm bin saga continued

just a repeat picture for those that don't know what the heck i'm refering to.
the cornmeal used for heating worked out real well the tempature can be regulated by varying the amount of water that is applied to it. initially it absorbs water from the surrounding bedding and gets real hot up to 150 deg f. the heat then subsided as the corn meal dries out to use this method you must put the entire contents of a 1 lb container in one location. my bin is way too deep for normal use but being outside I think that my mistake turned out to be a plus not a minus. it gives the worms a place to get under the heat and I suspect feed on the cornmeal from the bottom.
