what is the alfalfa meal or pellets ,

what is the alfalfa meal or pellets in your worm fattener recipe originally used for ? is it for horse feed or rabbit feed ? as i can only get the horse feed pellets , is this the right one. thank you.

I do not know exactly what it is supposed to be for. I found it at my local feed store labeled as alfalfa meal. It did not say horse or rabbit feed on it. As long as it contains ONLY alfalfa, it does not matter how it is labeled.
