Worm Fattener Recipe substitution

I have your recipe.

I have all the ingredients. I substituted Alfalfa pellets for the meal.

My question: What can I substitute for the wheat meal?

I can't find it in our small town.

I found the wheat meal at my local Kroger food store, if you can believe that. They sell it in the healthy food section. I believe the brand is Bob's Mill. Another place to look is a a health food store.
But if you cannot find it there, you can substitute with whole wheat flour.
