worm tea in my garden

hello, i took your online class and decided to try worm composting because i wanted to start going organic. i started using the compost tea about three weeks ago but my garden still looks sad and pathetic and nothing seems to have grown much especially my tomato and zucchini plants. i don't understand this because everything i've read about worm compost tea has been very positive. maybe you can offer a suggestion. here's a little background:
1)i previously used miracle grown but apply the last about 2 months ago
2) i made tea from worm castings that i got from pike nursery.
3) i made tea once from castings from the bottom of my own bin that is one month old.
thanks for any help.

Answer from BigTex WormsExplain to me EXACTLY how you made the compost tea and I can give you some tips.
Step by step. Tell me everything you did to make the tea and how you applied it to your garden. Also tell me the temperatures you are having there and when you planted the tomato plant and zucchini plant.
But even before you say anything, in most areas of the US growing season is over. The end of July and August are usually a waiting period for fall planting. My spring plantings are all dead except for my chard. All else is dead due to the summer heat, applying all the compost tea in the world will not counteract the heat.
