    <title>Container Garden</title>
    <guid>http://www.wormbincomposting.com/containergarden.html</guid>
    <link>http://www.wormbincomposting.com/containergarden.html</link>
<description>I have long been asked by customers if it is possible to have a container garden rather than a full sized garden in the yard.

Absolutely yes.

For many having edibles in containers is a win/win. You can have homegrown yummies on an apartment balcony or in a small patio. You can pull them inside easily if the weather is too hot or too cold. And you will not have to weed them.

After a recent post on facebook about gardening, I was saddened that so many wanted edibles but did not want to have a garden or they do not like to plant. So, I had the idea to make edible containers for sale.

BigTex Worms will now offer veggie and herbs in planters. I will use all organic potting mediums including at least 50% worm castings. This means you will not have to fertilize all growing season. You will just need to use some kind of bug spray to keep the critters off. (I use soapy water and jalapeno water)

Here is a video of some of the planters.
